This upbringing shaped his mission to make financial planning accessible and meaningful for everyday people, no matter their background or life stage.
A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® professional with Series 7 and Series 66 licenses held with LPL Financial, Harrison blends practical expertise with a personal touch. His career focuses on guiding clients through key financial milestones, from saving for retirement and planning their children’s education to navigating life transitions and planning for their family’s future. Harrison is passionate about creating strategies that make sense for real people, helping them pursue their goals step by step.
At True Compass Advisors, Harrison will work directly with clients to develop personalized financial plans while enhancing the firm’s financial planning services. He believes that everyone deserves access to clear, actionable guidance and takes pride in making complex financial concepts easy to understand.
Harrison’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in finance, magna cum laude, from Eastern Connecticut State University and a certificate in Financial Planning from Southern Methodist University. He also draws on diverse experiences, including completing his high school education in Switzerland and serving as the Governor’s lead on three impactful state committees—General Law, Children, and Higher Education—during his time as a Legislative Associate in the Office of Governor Ned Lamont.
Outside the office, Harrison finds joy in the simple things—walking and hiking with his wife, Mariah, their young sons, and their spirited golden doodle. He enjoys cooking, swimming in the ocean, and spending quality time with family. A dedicated volunteer at his local church, Harrison values giving back to his community and living a life of service. He also enjoys listening to audiobooks and podcasts to stay inspired and informed. Harrison takes pride in helping others plant the seeds for their financial futures, guided by Warren Buffett’s timeless words: “Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”
